Dr. Abhilash Chandra

Dr. Abhilash Chandra is a highly qualified Vascular Surgeon and General Surgeon based in Ashford, South Australia. Known for his reassuring and patient-centred approach, he specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of circulatory disorders. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chandra is an active Academic and Researcher, holding affiliations with several prominent Australian universities where he contributes to the advancement of surgical science and education.

Dr. Chandra completed his pre-medical studies at the University of Otago in New Zealand before embarking on a combined Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours and Doctor of Philosophy programme at the University of Sydney, which he completed in 2005. He went on to complete his General Surgery training, passing his Fellowship examination in 2012, followed by his Vascular Surgery Fellowship examination in 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Science, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in both Vascular Surgery and General Surgery.
