Dr Abdul Rauf Sheikh

Dr Abdul Rauf Sheikh is an interventional and general cardiologist. Their passion for medicine stems from their father, who is also a cardiologist. The satisfaction and joy that results from successfully treating acute heart attack patients inspired them to pursue a career in interventional cardiology.

Dr Sheikh's main research interest was to provide more insights into coronary microvascular disorders in the Australian population. Dr Sheikh is actively involved in research as well as undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
