Act Endoscopy

Act Endoscopy is a purpose-built facility located in Deakin, a suburb of Canberra. Established to meet the growing endoscopic needs of the Australian Capital Territory and the surrounding regions of New South Wales, the centre officially opened in May 2012. It is situated within the Equinox complex on Kent Street, near John James Hospital.

The facility is dedicated to providing gastroenterological services. The centre is equipped with two procedure rooms to carry out its specialised examinations. It is committed to delivering a high standard of care to its patients, focusing on upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures.

As part of a larger network of day hospitals, Act Endoscopy operates with a focus on same-day procedures. The facility and its staff are integrated into a broader group that maintains a number of facilities across Australia, aiming to provide quality patient care and specialised medical services.
