Diagnostic Dilemmas and Treatment Strategy for Paediatric Non-Traumatic Knee Effusion
Knee effusion in the pediatric age group is usually due to hemarthrosis following an injury. However, there are several non-traumatic causes of knee effusion found in the pediatric age group. Evaluation and treatment for non-traumatic effusion in the knee require special attention. This is desired basically to differentiate between infectious, post-infectious, rheumatologic, hematologic, vasculitis and malignant diseases. Despite knee swelling prevailing in ~27% of the general population, there is a lack of consensus on the diagnosis and management of this condition among Indians. The present case highlights the importance of a definite diagnostic pyramid and multidisciplinary approach required for early diagnosis and treatment of non-traumatic knee effusion in an adolescent with underlying juvenile spondyloarthropathy

PALMAR INTRATENDINOUS GANGLION OF HAND- A CASE REPORT AND REVIEW OF LITERATURE
Dorsal wrist ganglion is a prevalent benign tumour of hand and wrist involving the extensor tendons. However, an intratendinous ganglion in flexor tendons of hand is a rare benign tumour. There are fewer case reports of intratendinous ganglion involving the flexor tendon of wrist and hand. We present one such rare case of intratendinous ganglion involving the flexor tendon of hand treated with surgical excision.
