About Miss Yasmin Milne

Yasmin Milne is a valued member of the Beyond Health physiotherapy team, where she integrates her experience as an international athlete into her physiotherapy practice. As a former Scottish national champion in sprint hurdling, Yasmin competed at both national and international levels, giving her a unique perspective on the physical demands and recovery needs of athletes. She holds a first-class honours degree in physiotherapy and is a certified APPI Pilates instructor as well as an acupuncture practitioner.

Yasmin’s journey into physiotherapy was inspired by her own personal experience of injury during a hurdling season, where she underwent weekly physiotherapy sessions. Motivated by how much physios had helped her, she became determined to assist other athletes in the same way. Combining her years of competitive sports, academic knowledge, and clinical expertise, she focuses on achieving positive outcomes for her clients. Yasmin believes in empowering her clients to set ambitious goals and supporting them every step of the way, ensuring there are no limits to what they can achieve.

She has a particular interest in treating runners and CrossFit athletes, having participated in both sports herself. Over the years, she has worked with various sports teams and gained expertise in managing conditions affecting the foot and ankle, lower back pain, neck pain, shoulders, and lower limbs. Yasmin’s passion extends to sports-specific rehabilitation, helping athletes avoid injuries and perform at their best. In addition to her physiotherapy work, she is highly skilled in Pilates, having completed APPI Matwork Levels 1, 2, and 3.

Yasmin’s holistic approach blends physiotherapy and Pilates to deliver comprehensive care to her patients, whether they are elderly individuals in care homes, injured athletes, or private practice patients with neurological conditions. Qualified in 2016 from Queen Margaret University, Yasmin is dedicated to improving the quality of life for her patients, helping them achieve their personal and athletic goals.
