About Dr. Uchenna Amaechi
Dr. Uchenna Amaechi is an experienced General Practitioner and specialist in Sexual and Reproductive Health, with expertise in contraception, including intrauterine and subdermal techniques, and a particular focus on female health. Dr. Amaechi graduated from University College London Medical School in 2003 and initially trained for five years in hospital medicine before completing her General Practice training at St. George’s Hospital in London. Over her career, she has earned diplomas from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG) and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
Her hospital-based training in Sexual Health Medicine inspired her to deepen her focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health. She holds a Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH) and certifications in intrauterine techniques and subdermal implants. Dr. Amaechi has been instrumental in setting up Coil and Implant Services within the NHS and has developed clinical protocols to ensure the delivery of high-quality care in this area.
With over a decade of NHS experience, Dr. Amaechi combines her clinical expertise with a passion for innovation, providing compassionate and personalised care to her patients.
