About Mr Toby Meadows
Toby is an HCPC registered Hearing Aid Audiologist and the Managing Director of Meadows & Wood Hearing Care, which he founded in 2020 after relocating to Somerset with his wife Claire. His aim in establishing the practice was to provide high-quality, independent hearing and ear care within a family-run and ethical setting.
He studied Hearing Sciences in Cambridge, where he completed his degree before beginning his career with a national hearing care chain. Following graduation, he progressed to the role of regional director. Toby later moved into the independent sector, valuing the emphasis on continuity of care as a key factor in patient outcomes. In 2016, he became Managing Director of County Hearing, having previously worked with its sister company DigiClear.
At Meadows & Wood, Toby provides a full range of audiology services and is also an advanced wax removal and microsuction specialist. He continues to see patients daily, offering support across hearing assessment, hearing aids, tinnitus management and ear care.
