Dr Timothy Simmons

Dr Timothy Simmons is a dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in the non-surgical management and treatment of complex malignancies. Working closely within multidisciplinary healthcare teams, he provides compassionate, patient-centred care that focuses on delivering individualised care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and clinical profile.

In his clinical practice, Dr Simmons focuses on the treatment of colorectal, anal, and lung cancers. He possesses comprehensive expertise in utilising advanced radiotherapy techniques as well as systemic anti-cancer treatments, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy. By integrating contemporary medical research and innovative therapy protocols, he aims to optimise treatment efficacy while minimising side effects and supporting patient well-being throughout their care pathway.

Dr Simmons completed his medical education at Manchester University, graduating in 2000. He subsequently undertook specialist higher clinical training in Clinical Oncology across Leeds and Sheffield, earning his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) qualification in 2011. He actively participates in clinical advisory groups to support continuous improvement in oncology care standards.
