Mr Tim Tsui is a Senior Physiotherapist with extensive experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation, pain management, and public health. He holds an MSc in Physiotherapy from Brunel University London, an MSc in Exercise Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health. He has also recently completed a Joint Injection Therapy course at the University of Hertfordshire.
Mr Tsui currently works as a First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) across NHS GP practices in London, providing direct-access physiotherapy without the need for a GP referral. His responsibilities include the assessment and management of a wide range of MSK conditions, screening for red flags, and making appropriate referrals for diagnostic imaging, orthopaedic assessment, and specialist services such as pain management and podiatry.
Alongside his NHS role, Mr Tsui practises privately at UK Pain Clinic Bloomsbury, where he provides MSK assessments and treatments, including manual therapy, shockwave therapy, and acupuncture for both self-funded and insured patients. His previous experience includes working in public and private healthcare settings in both the UK and Hong Kong, treating patients with a broad range of orthopaedic, neurological, and palliative care conditions. He has also contributed to physiotherapy education through teaching physiotherapy and rehabilitation modules.
Mr Tsui is currently undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Rheumatology at the University of South Wales, further developing his knowledge and clinical expertise in the assessment and management of rheumatological and musculoskeletal conditions.
His clinical interests include pain management, exercise-based rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders, rheumatology, and injury prevention. He combines evidence-based physiotherapy with a patient-centred approach to promote recovery, restore function, improve quality of life, and enhance long-term health and wellbeing.
In 2022, Mr Tsui was one of the speakers at the 2nd International E-Conference on Physiotherapy, Physical Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine.
