About Dr. Stephanie Cook

Dr Stephanie Cook is a GP with a special interest in Women’s Health and a registered BMS Menopause Specialist. She has been involved with the design, development and implementation of women's health hubs across Liverpool and is the clinical lead for this service. The work in Liverpool has provided a wealth of material to support the development of women’s health hubs across the country and continues to draw significant interest at a national level. Steph is also a director of Primary Care Women’s Health Society and founder of De Silva Women’s Health. She is a national speaker on the topic of women’s health and is passionate about improving access to services, reducing health inequalities and supporting training & education for other health care professionals. 

Dr Cook's skills include but are not limited to: general community gynaecology, managing complex contraceptive queries (including contraceptive procedures such as implants and coils), advanced level menopause care, assessment of pelvic floor problems (including fitting and replacing various types of pessaries) and gynaecological scanning (including early pregnancy scans). Dr Cook also has an interest in hormone and headache problems (in particular perimenopausal migraine and menstrual migraine) which she treats at her clinic.
