Sam Mason

Sam Mason is a dedicated Case Manager at Portobello Behavioural Health, where he brings his valuable expertise and background to support clients on their journey to wellbeing. With previous experience as a Recovery Coach, Sam offers a unique blend of empathy and pragmatism to assist each client effectively.

Sam's personal journey of recovery commenced in 2009, when he was just 20 years old. This personal experience has led to his ever-expanding knowledge in the areas of addiction, codependency, and various behavioural issues. His ongoing journey of recovery fuels his deep passion for helping clients identify their goals and navigate the diverse pathways to recovery.

Having worked as a coach, Sam strongly believes in the significance of practical support coupled with therapeutic oversight and companionship. His prior background in the creative field, specifically in advertising, has developed his skills in creative problem-solving, planning, and organisation. These skills complement his commitment to providing clients with comprehensive support and guidance in their pursuit of lasting recovery. Presently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Addictions Psychology and Counselling at London South Bank University.
