Dr. Saadat Ahsan

Dr Saadat Ahsan is a Women’s Health Specialist at The Menopause Consortium’s Peterborough clinic, where she provides individualised care through both in-person and online consultations. With over 25 years of experience as a General Practitioner, she is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Royal College of General Practitioners, and the British Menopause Society, where she also serves as an Accredited Trainer.

Dr Ahsan is widely recognised for her compassionate, evidence-based approach and her dedication to improving standards in menopause care. As an RCGP-approved Tier 3 Trainer and BMS trainer, she supports and educates healthcare professionals across both primary and secondary care. Her clinical interests include hormonal and non-hormonal menopause management, contraception, and long-term women’s health.

She is trained by the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and is qualified to fit contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices (IUDs). Dr Ahsan has contributed to various peer-reviewed journals, regularly presents at national and international conferences, and was awarded the Carole Brown Award for her outstanding contribution to the field. She is passionate about empowering women with the knowledge and support they need throughout their health journey.
