Dr. Ryan Turner

Dr Ryan Turner is a doctor with a strong background in both clinical and pre-hospital emergency medicine. With over five years of international practice across South Africa, Namibia, and Scotland, he brings a broad skill set to every aspect of his work. He currently practices at the UK Vein Clinic in Glasgow and at Signature Clinic.

At the UK Vein Clinic, Dr Turner specialises in the management of venous disease. He provides thorough preoperative assessments, delivers advanced non-surgical treatments for varicose veins, and ensures attentive postoperative care. In his aesthetics role at Signature Clinic, he focuses on detailed patient evaluations and non-surgical treatments, helping patients achieve safe, natural, and high-quality results.

Earlier in his career, Dr Turner gained extensive acute care experience. He worked as a Clinical Fellow in Acute and Emergency Medicine at Lorn and Islands Hospital in Oban, a Flight Paramedic in Namibia, and an Advanced Life Support Paramedic in Johannesburg, managing critically ill patients in both urban and remote settings.

A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Johannesburg, Dr Turner is also a recipient of the prestigious Dean’s Award, reflecting his commitment to academic and clinical excellence.
