Dr. Risha Patel

Dr. Risha Patel is an experienced Dentist and a Specialist in Endodontics, recognised by the General Dental Council.

She graduated from King's College London in 2012. In the early years of her career Dr Patel completed training in general dental practice and within the hospital environment, broadening her experience in the fields of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics. Alongside these appointments, she completed her diploma examinations in 2014 to attain her Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Continuing to improve her professional portfolio and add to her skillset, she was accepted onto the highly competitive specialist training programme in Endodontics at King's College London, where she qualified with distinction, completing research focused on the use of specialised imaging techniques and software in the management of endodontic problems.

Attaining her Membership in Endodontics (MEndo) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2019, Dr Patel currently spends her clinical time accepting and completing referrals for complex endodontic treatment from other dentists or on self-referral from patients themselves.

The remainder of her professional time is spent teaching clinical skills to future dentists and endodontist on the undergraduate and postgraduate department at King's College London and independently.

Additionally, she has presented and published at local, national and international level in the field of endodontics and is the director of the South East and South West Thames Division of the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
