Mr Rajan Jandoo

Mr Rajan Jandoo is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in trauma and spinal care. He provides comprehensive diagnostic assessments and tailored management plans for patients experiencing a wide range of spinal conditions and musculoskeletal disorders. Employing a patient-centred approach, Mr Jandoo prioritises conservative and non-surgical treatments whenever appropriate, recommending surgical intervention only when conservative measures are insufficient to achieve long-term pain relief and improved mobility.

In his clinical practice, Mr Jandoo manages conditions across the entire spine using both minimally invasive and open surgical techniques. His expertise encompasses non-surgical spinal interventions, including epidural injections for sciatica, facet joint and medial branch blocks, and radiofrequency denervation. When surgery is required, he performs procedures such as spinal decompression, microdiscectomy, anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF), cervical disc replacement, and advanced lumbar interbody fusion techniques (ALIF, OLIF, XLIF, and TLIF). He also attends to complex cases involving spinal trauma, spinal fractures, and spinal oncology concerns.

Mr Jandoo completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Oxford, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honours (BA Hons) and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BM BCh) degrees. He subsequently completed extensive postgraduate surgical training, gaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedics (FRCS (Tr & Orth)). To further refine his surgical skills, he completed advanced fellowship training in Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery approved by the British Association of Spine Surgeons.
