He has a very reassuring bedside manner. Explained everything that was going to happen and most importantly what it would feel like. So there were no unexpected sensations during the surgery.
My eyesight had become a bit fuzzy and an examination by a NHS ophthalmologist in March suggested that the cause was something I had never heard of: Posterior Capsule Opacification (not surprisingly known by its acronym PCO) following my cataract replacement three years ago. I waited three months after that appointment but unfortunately had no letter and my telephone calls went unanswered, with their recorded message saying that they had no voicemail/answering system. So I did a bit of investigation and was pleased to see that there is a consultant specialist at the Cheshire Spire hospital, and I phoned the hospital and was given an appointment six days ahead. The unexpected "icing on the cake" was the following morning when I received Mr Bhayani's e-mail recording the process, and a few hours later, he telephoned me to be sure that my initial impressions held good. The follow-up appointment two weeks later repeated my first experience. I do...
Read moreI needed YAG laser surgery as my sight in both eyes was rapidly deteriorating. The NHS waiting list is many months but Mr Bhayani conducted the procedure within 3 days of my first contact. The procedure was quick and painless and was explained to me in an understandable and professional manner. First class service at a reasonable cost.
Mr Bhayani was fantastic - professional, meticulous and thorough. He explained every option and procedure with clarity and understanding. My results exceeded my expectations in every respect. I would - without hesitation - recommend Mr Bhayani, his team and Newmedica.
Mr Bhayani was excellent, he answered my concerns and described my options moving forward in a detailed manner which was kind, friendly and empathetic at no point was I rushed, no questions were to much trouble, it was a great experience from which I learned a great deal about my condition I will continue to visit Mr Bhayani and use this clinic and would recommend it to anyone with concerns about eye health.
