I had an extremely disappointing experience with Prof Dhillion at The London Digestive Centre regarding my sleep apnea treatment and feel compelled to share my concerns so others can make informed decisions. I was charged £750 for a sleep study, which I later discovered could be obtained online for £189. In fact, the doctor themselves later recommended the same online provider to purchase a CPAP, and the report I received from the doctor appeared identical to the one generated by this company. Additionally, I was sold a CPAP machine for £1,350, only to find the same model available online for £649. When I questioned these charges, I was told this was simply the price they had always charged. I was also informed that the additional cost of the CPAP was due to an extended warranty and three months of follow-up care with the doctor. However, this was never explained upfront, and I later discovered I was separately charged £350 for nurse practitioner support. Thankfully, I was able to return the CPAP and get a full refund. I then purchased the same device directly from ResMed, a trusted specialist provider, and received three months of monitoring for under £1,000. I strongly believe that this provider is taking advantage of patients who are already struggling with sleep deprivation. While I understand that private healthcare providers must make a profit, these charges seem excessive and unjustifiable. If you are considering treatment for sleep apnea, I urge you to research your options carefully and to contact the Sleep Apnea Trust to get advice about private treatment to av...

I was kept waiting nearly 40 minutes for the consultant's first appointment of the day. A nurse had to call them to find out where they were. When they did finally arrive they weren't very apologetic and didn't really explain why they were so late! I was a bit anxious about my appointment and this didn't help. I could havec come at a later time if asked/required. There were also other 2 other members of staff in the room for my consultation, one of them wasn't even introduced to me and I don't know why they were there.
