Dr. Pinky Jimenez

Dr Pinky Jimenez-Agrawal is an Occupational Therapist and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Practitioner with over 30 years of experience working in mental health services. She practises at Ichor Health, where she supports children, young people and adults, including individuals living with cancer, chronic illnesses and those experiencing bereavement or other life-changing events.

Throughout her career, Dr Jimenez-Agrawal has worked across a wide range of mental health settings. Her final NHS role was as Head of Occupational Therapy in a Mental Health Unit at a London hospital, where she led occupational therapy services and supported patients with complex mental health needs.

Dr Jimenez-Agrawal has a particular interest in preventative care and psychological wellbeing. She provides support to individuals diagnosed with cancer and their families, helping them navigate treatment, recovery and the emotional challenges associated with serious illness. She also supports terminally ill patients and their loved ones as they prepare for the end of life.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Jimenez-Agrawal runs bimonthly drop-in sessions and provides one-to-one psychological support for members of a leukaemia charity. She also volunteers as a therapist with Cruse Bereavement Support, where she provides counselling for children and young adults experiencing bereavement.

As an ACT practitioner and a dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)-informed therapist, Dr Jimenez-Agrawal uses an integrative approach tailored to each individual. Combining evidence-based therapies with mindfulness-based interventions, she helps patients develop practical coping strategies, build resilience and regain independence following illness, injury, bereavement or other significant life events.
