Mr Pete Lewis

Mr Pete Lewis is a highly experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in providing excellent care for adult hip and knee conditions. He graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1999 before gaining extensive specialist training as a registrar at the renowned Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. His dedication to mastering joint replacement techniques led him to pursue a prestigious one-year international fellowship in Toronto, Canada, where he worked alongside global pioneers in the field.

Returning to the UK with advanced expertise, Mr Lewis was officially appointed as a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in South Wales in 2009. Over the course of his consultant career, he has performed more than 3,000 hip and knee replacements, including several hundred complex and revision procedures. He is widely trusted by his regional colleagues, frequently receiving specialist referrals to manage the most challenging joint replacement cases. His primary clinical interest remains centered on adult primary, complex, and revision hip and knee replacement surgery, aiming to restore mobility and relieve chronic joint pain for his patients.
