Ms Niamh Pert

Ms Niamh Pert is a physiotherapist with experience in elite sport, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and neurological care. She works in private practice while also supporting high-performance athletes, and is currently the Lead Physiotherapist for the Scotland Rugby League Under-18s. She has also worked with Scotland Rugby Union across a number of squads, providing physiotherapy support within elite rugby environments.

Ms Pert has delivered care in demanding sporting settings, including professional rugby with Hull KR and at international rugby competitions. She has also been involved with the Manx Grand Prix on the Isle of Man, where she has worked with race teams and world-class motorcycle racers.

Alongside her work in elite sport, Ms Pert treats a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neurological conditions. Her clinical approach combines rehabilitation, Pilates-based movement therapy, sports massage and manual physiotherapy techniques to support recovery, enhance performance and reduce the risk of future injury. She places strong emphasis on detailed assessment to identify the underlying causes of pain or dysfunction, enabling effective and sustainable rehabilitation.

Ms Pert holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and has additional qualifications in Sports Massage, Pilates instruction, and Sports and K Taping. Her treatment approach focuses on tailored, hands-on physiotherapy designed to support both return to sport and improvements in everyday mobility and function.
