Myles Dakin

Dr. Myles Dakin is the Director of Specialist Dental Partners and a highly experienced Prosthodontist. He qualified at Guy’s Hospital in 1989 and went on to pass the Primary Fellowship Examination at the Royal College of Surgeons in 1993. After an early career in maxillofacial trauma surgery, Myles completed advanced postgraduate training at the University of Texas, where he taught undergraduate students and earned a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences alongside a certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics. During this period, he was awarded Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons and was admitted to the UK Specialist Register as a Prosthodontist.

Beyond clinical dentistry, Myles is involved in pharmaceutical development and enjoys time on his allotment. He has a wide range of interests including cars and motorbikes, food and travel, practices yoga, and is known for his curiosity and enthusiasm for learning across many fields.
