Mr Mustafa Rangwala is an experienced Consultant Sports Physiotherapist specialising in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports and orthopaedic injuries. With a clinical background spanning hospitals, private practice, and elite sporting events, he combines evidence-based physiotherapy with sports performance and injury prevention strategies to help patients recover effectively and safely return to activity.
Mr Rangwala completed a Master of Science in Sports Injury at Sheffield Hallam University after earning his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences. His specialist training has supported a career focused on musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports medicine, and functional recovery.
His professional experience includes working at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital within the Centre for Sports Medicine, where he managed sports-related and orthopaedic injuries. He later served as Consultant Sports Physiotherapist at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, providing advanced rehabilitation and performance-focused physiotherapy care.
Mr Rangwala has also worked with elite athletes and sporting organisations, including serving as Team Sports Physiotherapist for the Indian Oil Cricket Team during the BCCI Corporate Trophy in 2014 and for the 6th World Bodybuilding Competition held in Goregaon in 2014. His combined on-field and clinical expertise allows him to guide athletes on rehabilitation, training loads, injury prevention, and return-to-sport planning.
His treatment approach includes soft tissue mobilisation, joint mobilisation, exercise prescription, kinesiology taping, and dry needling (Western acupuncture). He specialises in managing conditions such as disc bulges and slipped discs, ligament sprains, muscle strains, tendinitis, rotator cuff injuries, knee arthritis, cervical and lumbar spondylosis, nerve impingement, and a wide range of sports-related musculoskeletal injuries.
