Dr. Muhammad Fatum is a highly skilled Fertility Medicine Specialist with extensive expertise in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. After completing his specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology, he pursued further subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine, becoming a Consultant and Subspecialist at the Hadassah-Hebrew University Hospital in Jerusalem.

In 2008, Dr. Fatum joined the Oxford Fertility Unit and Women’s Centre at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University, where he completed a rigorous three-year fellowship program in reproductive medicine and surgery. During his time at Oxford, he also served as a Senior Clinical Research Fellow and Clinical Lecturer, contributing significantly to the field of reproductive health.

Dr. Fatum's professional journey at Oxford included roles as a specialist in Reproductive Medicine, Medical Team Manager, and Deputy Medical Director at the Oxford Fertility Unit. He has also held positions as a visiting research fellow and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Oxford University.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Fatum has made substantial contributions to academia. He served as an internal examiner and, subsequently, as the chair of the Examiners Board for the Oxford University MSc Programme in Clinical Embryology. He has also examined PhD students at Oxford University and other UK universities.

Dr. Fatum's research interests are extensive, with a particular focus on fertility cryopreservation optimisation and Preimplantation Genetic Testing. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for top journals in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. Furthermore, he is an accomplished lecturer, delivering presentations and lectures at various levels within the university and hospital setting.
