I was referred to Mr Ghosh by another Consultant who I was informed undertook half knee replacements that I had been advised I should consider having. Mr Ghosh confirmed this would be the best option, showed me my MRI and the damage to my knee and that he was happy to perform the operation. This was scheduled for just 3 weeks later. I received a detailed explanation of what the operation entailed and the possible issues that may arise. I met with Mr Ghosh both pre op and after it had been performed and then again 6 weeks later. He gave me very good advice concerning post operative physiotherapy and that my recovery was very much in my own hands. I'm very please to say I have made a rapid recovery. I considered I was in expert hands throughout and very pleased with the outcome.

Always ready to answer questions. Explained in detail what would happen during the procedure and what to expect afterwards . Gave me all the facts( as I could have one knee or a bilateral) then time to decide what path I’d like to take . Checked in after the operation too and was happy to speak to relatives and answer their questions. I had complete faith in him and would recommend him to anyone needing knee surgery.

I found Mr Ghosh to be a thoroughly engaging and Professional surgeon. He listened carefully, assessed my needs, ensured he took time to explain the options available to me so that I could decide on the right course of treatment and intervention. In advance of the surgery he helped settle my nerves, and kept me well informed. The surgery was smooth with far less discomfort than I was expecting, and recovery was quick and well supported. I’d struggle to think of anything else he could have done, other than show me the MRI imagery of my knee for my own interest. Overall - outstanding!
