Towards the end of his orthopaedic training, he completed a 12 month fellowship under the supervision of the renowned surgeon Dr Laurent Lafosse. This provided Mr Fogerty with a good understanding of arthroscopy and the latest techniques to treat the shoulder and elbow.
Mr Fogerty is an expert in arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery and shoulder instability, with a good understanding of the Latarjet procedure (coracoid transfer). He also provides treatments for tennis elbow and ulnar nerve entrapment.

From the initial consultation Mr Fogerty listened to why I felt I needed the AC joint surgery and agreed it would improve my overall stability for riding mountain bikes. Mr Fogerty explained the procedure clearly, raised the possible side effects and overall gave me confidence in his knowledge and ability to perform the surgery. The day of the operation the bedside manners was calm and confident and made me feel relaxed for the procedure ahead. The final consultation was swift and the explanation of what had been done was clear. Overall a great experience

I saw Mr Fogerty for a painful shoulder which had been misdiagnosed in primary care. He performed a thorough examination and gave a very clear explanation of the diagnosis (frozen shoulder) and treatment options. He has an approachable and professional manner; I felt properly listened to; his explanation was well communicated and comprehensive. The treatment was very effective. I myself am a medical practitioner (hospital consultant) and would strongly recommend him to treat friends and family.
