Mr Basu has been thorough from the outset explaining my options including risks and benefits at my consultation, he took time to listen to me and noted down what I said and I didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable at any point. He was very prompt on the day of my surgery which meant I wasn’t kept waiting long from checking into the hospital to him coming to see me pre op chat and going down to theatre. That’s such a plus for me as I didn’t get anxious waiting and he put me at ease. He came round to see me post op to see how I felt and explain how it had gone and also wanted to see me 4 days after to make sure wounds and dressings were ok before he broke up for the Christmas period which gave me peace of mind and avoid any worry during a time it may have been difficult to be seen. I cannot fault the treatment I have received and his manor is caring and professional.
