I have had the privilege of being under the care of Professor Choi for over 7 years and for two major neurosurgical procedures, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care I received. From the very first consultation he demonstrated professionalism, deep expertise, and a reassuring approach that immediately put me at ease during what was an incredibly stressful time. Both operations were explained thoroughly, with every question answered patiently and clearly. Professor Choi ensured I understood the risks, benefits, and recovery process, which gave me confidence in the decisions being made. The surgeries themselves were successful, and my recovery has been remarkable thanks to his skill and precision. Beyond technical excellence, what truly stood out was the compassion and empathy shown throughout my journey. Professor Choi treated me not just as a patient, but as a person, always taking the time to check on my well-being and progress. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of neurosurgical care. His expertise, dedication, and kindness make him an outstanding neurosurgeon.

Was very happy with Prof Choi’s dealing with my recent surgery, it was not without risk and this was never sugar coated. He was prepared and didn’t everything to reduce risk and the surgery was a success as a result!

My appointment with Professor Choi was organised promptly and smoothly. I was in tremendous pain and very concerned about my fast-deteriorating mobility when I saw him. Dr Choi listened to my symptoms carefully and answered my questions clearly and fully. He explained the choices of treatment available and stated which option he considered would have the best chance of success for me. I liked the fact that he was so straightforward. He also explained the possible risks. I was confident that he had taken everything fully into account and was so relieved and grateful when I was offered an operation the following day. It’s very early days, but I am now pain free and mobility is returning.

I had anterior cervical disc replacement surgery performed by Professor David Choi in June 2025. The entire experience—from consultation to post-operative care—was excellent. Professor Choi was clear, confident, and reassuring throughout. The surgery went smoothly with no complications, and recovery has been well-managed with clear guidance. I’m grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend him to anyone needing spinal surgery.
