Mr Vijaya Pothula

Mr Vijaya Pothula is a Consultant ENT Surgeon, however his medical career is not limited to time in the theatre or hospital—outside of his focus on clinical care, he devotes a huge proportion of his time towards a scheme that aims to help children who are hearing-impaired in India.

The project offers an all-encompassing and free service that looks to offer screening in order to identify problems early on. Not only this, testing and fitting hearing aids, along with providing speech and language therapy, is also a constituent part of the service.
