Mr Vijay Ramani makes patients feel confident and provides excellent care. His calm manner helps patients feel informed. His great skill leads to quick healing and good results. Mr Ramani treats Prostate Cancer and performs robotic Prostatectomy.
My experience with Mr Ramani has been brilliant. From initial consultation, through preparation and surgery itself and now into aftercare, I could not have wished for a better surgeon. His manner and explanations meant that I had confidence I had made the right choice and was in the very best hands. The results of the surgery have confirmed this view, as the outcome was complete removal of the prostate cancer, and my recovery has been far smoother than expected, both in terms of speed of recovery and progress towards a return to normal functioning.
The whole experience from start to finish, both at the HCA Christie and the actual appointment with Mr Ramani, is friendly, yet professional. Nothing is too much trouble and Mr Ramani takes the time to answer all questions, providing clear and succinct answers.
I really struggle to put into words what I would like to say.words are not enough. Mr Ramani is an absolutely outstanding surgeon who has quite literally saved my life. His skill, compassion, and calm reassurance gave myself and my wife utter confidence at every stage. I’ll always be grateful for the exceptional care I have received and am eternally thankful that he chose medicine and surgery for his career all those years ago. I have had no problems with my recovery and can only praise him and his team “to the rafters.”Eternally grateful. Thankyou
Mr Ramani & his team were outstanding. Mr Ramani himself is a truly gifted surgeon combining leading edge technology & skillset with a warm & reassuring approach. From the first moment I met him, I had every confidence in him and his ability to steer a successful outcome to the journey I was on from diagnosis to treatment. I would full recommend him to anyone in my situation and thank him profusely for his professionalism & kindness.
Mr Ramani was a wonderful experience. Time taken to explain, sense of humour to temper the seriousness of the advice and of course superb surgery. This was reflected in the very quick recovery and after surgery care.
Dr Ramani is a wonderful man and such a fabulous Dr. I was referred following pain in lower back and a diagnosis of kidney stones following a trip to my GP. Dr Ramani saw me, listened to my symptoms, asked questions and gave me a full examination. He then had a very frank discussion with me and I have to say everything he said has been found to be true. What a man I am so grateful as thanks to him we found that I have an issue with my meniscus and that’s been causing a number of other issues due to my walking, posture etc. The stone was found to be a small calcification and not the problem. Yet this was all investigated and I feel thoroughly looked after and that Dr Ramani completely understood me from the first meeting. Thank you for your exceptional care and your kindness, support and frankness when required. I am very grateful for being referred to Dr Ramani.
My hero! His manner and explanations gave me complete confidence in the procedure I was to undertake. What he has done for me is incredible and I equally wanted to do well in my preparation and recovery to support him. I know he was delighted with my outcome and progress. I cannot thank him enough.
Mr Ramani was very straightforward and pragmatic, told me how it is, and did not pull punches. He also encouraged me in behaviour which will benefit me going forward.
I have known Mr Ramani for several years. He is an excellent colleague and a very knowledgeable clinician apart from being an exceptionally talented surgeon. His surgical skills with receipt to Uro-oncology are well known
