I am a 74 year old male who has just had two full knee replacement operations by Mr Hamilton just three months apart. The outcome and my recovery could not be better, he is clearly a most excellent surgeon. At all times before and after the operations he went to great lengths to explain everything and answer the daftest of questions. I cannot recommend him highly enough. In my view, his patients are very fortunate to have him as ther consultant.

Mr Hamilton carried out a complete knee replacement for me after discussing the options available to me and trying to give me some relief with an injection. He answered all my questions about the procedure clearly and was reassuring about the use of an epidural The work the physio team carried out under his direction meant that I was able to be discharged four days after the operation and have continued to make progress since. In all my conversations with him he was always positive and encouraging about the progress I was making which helped me in my recovery.

Total hip replacement on 1st March 2017. I found Mr Hamilton and his team to be extremely thorough in all aspects of my treatment, keeping me thoroughly informed at every stage. The operation was very successful

Mr Hamilton is a consummate professional. He has an excellent bedside manner, is very approachable and happy to answer any questions you may have. He successfully operated on my knee with a partial knee replacement after spending months in a knee brace and crutches.
