Mr Hamilton clearly explained my injury and what the process leading to and including surgery would involve. I felt totally engaged and was fully informed throughout. The whole process including post surgery consultation was conducted on in a professional and friendly manner which put me a ease. I'm very happy with the whole experience with Mr Hamilton.

Overall theatre op was quite a pleasant experience. On the day, the folks around me including Mr Hamilton put me well at ease. At the start of my sudden immobility on 15th September, I was quite apprehensive and pessimistic in respect of the outcome by the time I met Mr Hamilton 2 days later. By the time I got to theatre on 23rd October I had been well briefed and mentored by Physio that (a) I was making the right decision to proceed asap with a procedure and that (b) Mr Hamilton was highly regarded professionally. The results and speed of my recovery to mobility and getting back to physical activities and sport, reflect on a high standard of professional skill and new technology. My only other comment was that I understand Mr Hamilton was called away (on personal business) just after my initial meeting in September and communication was vague for a little while from his office as to follow up actions.

From the first meeting with Mr Hamilton he was very interested in what type of life I lead and activities I did, He then went on to explain all about hip replacement how it was done ran through the whole procedure explained recover time and what I could and could not do for the next 6 weeks. Mr Hamilton did such a good job of the hip I was able to walk out of the hospital next day with two sticks really impressed with the out come. Even after the operation he come to the room to check everything was okay which it was excellent polite manner, a month on and the ceramic hip that was fitted is performing perfect now doing everything I was doing before, a very talented man indeed.

I found Mr Hamilton to be a very kind, caring person. As a surgeon he took time to explain my condition and help me to look at the options available to me. After discussion we agreed on the way forward.

Mr Hamilton explained the whole procedure very clearly. I requested if it was possible to cut around my leprechan tattoo on my hip, while doing my hip replacement so I was very happy that he managed to do this!! I also asked if I could have photographs of my before and after x-rays and again, he obliged with e-mailing them to me. He answered all my questions at my follow up appointment.

Brilliant, would recommend him as a caring individual and super surgeon.
