very good doctor, brilliant care and aftercare. However quite difficult to make an appointment through the hospital.

Sam’s plethora of experience and incisive surgical technique has not only resulted in my carpal tunnel being cured in both hands, but also, he brings me much comfort in the knowledge, should anything arise in the future he is only a phone call away. I cannot extoll his praises enough - thank you, Sam.

Mr Gidwani clearly explained the diagnosis and treatment, taking care to ensure potential side effects were understood.

I have received exceptional care and attention from Mr Gidwani - from the initial consultation to discuss my treatment options for a broken wrist; through to the operation itself; post-op consultations; and finally to discharge upon successful healing and recovery to near normal. At my first consultation to discuss the treatment plan, Mr Gidwani's calm and friendly manner immediately put me at ease and I felt I was in safe hands and would get the best treatment and outcome possible. His explanation of treatment options, time-frames, post-op hand therapy, were easily understood and digestable. In follow-up post-op consultations Mr Gidwani was firm, but fair, making me understand the importance of hand therapy and home-exercises, and what he expected of me in terms of recovery. These milestones allowed me to work to a plan to understand the speed and effectiveness of my recovery. Most important of all, the surgery was a success, (plates and pins insertion), with complete healing of the bone/s, a very neat scar, and an expectation, with hand therapy, to return to near normal.

Dr Gidwani was always an absolute pleasure on every meeting, and somehow managed to fix me completely after I was knocked off my bike and had two very broken wrists. I went to Dr Gidwani because he was recommended to me by another doctor I knew as 100% the best wrist surgeon out there, and that certainly was my experience. After very nasty breaks of both bones in both wrists, I now have full movement and full use of them and no pain. He was also infinitely patient with all of my questions, and explained everything to me - even during surgery, when I'm pretty sure I should have let him get on with it! Can't recommend him enough.

A very knowledgable, experienced and meticulous surgeon. His advice are very clear and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Off the 6 hand surgeries I had undergone at various NHS and non-NHS facilities, this was, by far the best experience. I am happy that I discovered him at last (hopefully, I wouldn’t need anymore) and got myself admitted in his ward. I am very happy with the quickness of surgery prioritisation, the outcome and efficient post-op clinics. He took into consideration all the surgeries I had gone through and meticulously treated me for more than 6 months post surgery. I should also commend on his NHS team. They were the best in terms of care and speed, where I was usually out of hospital for clinics in 60 mins.
