Mr. Martin Vine brings over 29 years of experience in both NHS and private practice to his role as a podiatrist. Now exclusively working in private practice, he has developed a specialised interest in managing pain across a wide range of conditions affecting the foot and lower limb. His expertise covers injuries, sports-related issues, and various muscle, tissue, ligament, joint, neurological, and vascular conditions.
Mr. Vine’s practice is inclusive, welcoming patients from ages six through to the elderly. His treatment repertoire includes a diverse range of techniques designed to manage and reduce painful conditions. He is proficient in bio-mechanics, offering long-term rehabilitation for ankle and heel pain, as well as addressing issues from sports injuries or other sources. His skills extend to ingrown toenail surgery, lower limb acupuncture, joint and tissue mobilisations and manipulations, verrucae needling under local anaesthetic, and the use of Botox and dermal fillers in the feet and lower limbs.
In 1996, Mr. Vine was among the first podiatrists to study homeopathy related to the lower limb, establishing one of the country’s pioneering homeopathic podiatry clinics for an NHS Trust. His career has involved collaboration with numerous physiotherapists, osteopaths, and sports therapists, and he served as the lead biomechanical podiatrist in a private practice for four years. His experience also includes roles as an MSK podiatrist in the NHS and various private practices, with a significant portion of his work now focused on his own part-time private practice.
Mr. Vine has successfully treated prominent individuals including actors, footballers, athletes, golfers, tennis players, and dancers. He employs a holistic approach to diagnosing and treating lower limb problems, utilising a range of treatment options such as acupuncture, mobilisations, physiotherapy, osteopathic-style massage, exercises, homeopathy, orthoses, as well as lifestyle and nutritional advice.
In addition to his clinical skills, Mr. Vine has knowledge of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and kinesiology. He conducts comprehensive analyses of patients' issues, offering solutions based on biomechanics, gait analysis, lifestyle factors, and medical history. Mr. Vine also offers home visits and treats conditions such as corns, calluses, verrucae, and ingrown toenails. He holds certifications in local anaesthetics, acupuncture, aesthetics of the lower limb, and mobilisations, and he looks forward to assisting and advising a wide range of patients.

I visited Martin for treatment on a very painful corn, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I received. My foot was extremely sore when I arrived, but Martin was professional, gentle, and clearly very experienced. He explained what he was doing, put me completely at ease, and treated the problem quickly and effectively.
Extremely knowledgeable, professional and excellent service, I cannot rate highly enough.
Regularly get corn and callusces removed..always good experience
Been seeing Martin for years, always sorts my sad feet out :-) highly recommend
Martin didn’t given up when the first treatment didn’t work and then changed the treatment. He followed up 2 weeks later to check in and see if the foot was healed.
Had ingrown toenails and Martin was excellent as he was before when I had the same problem and I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a chiropodist. Thank you Martin.
