Dr Lalita Banerjee is a Consultant Haematologist and Clinical Lead for Plasma Cell Dyscrasias at King's College Hospital in London. She completed her medical degree at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, London in 1997 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2001.

Dr Banerjee sees private patients in the following private hospitals and clinics in Maidstone and Pembury:

Dr Banerjee has several years of experience managing and treating conditions across all aspects of haematology and has special interests in haematological oncology, chemotherapy, general haematology and paediatric haematology. She also has special interests in the following:

• Deep vein thrombosis
• Myeloma
• Lymphoma
• Warfarin therapy
• Anaemia
• Bone marrow transplants
• Stem cell transplantation

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Banerjee teaches and trains junior doctors and allied health staff by discussing patient cases and managing patients. She is also responsible for reporting blood films and bone marrow aspirates in the lab.

She regularly attends quality management meetings to ensure she is always adhering to clinical governance.
