I have seen Jonathan Clarke both as an NHS and private patient in respect of glaucoma and in particular for an aqueous shunt implant which was done privately. The operation was a week ago and I can honestly say it was painless and a follow up appointment today with Jonathan, has confirmed that the eye is healing as expected and that the eye pressure has reduced to a safe level, which was the ultimate point of the operation. I have been very pleased with the attentiveness of Jonathan, both as a private and NHS patient.
The doctor explains everything very clearly and helped me understand what’s happening and how we can fix it now
Lovely guy, explained everything clearly and in a way I could follow.
Mr Jonathan Clarke has looked after me since I was diagnosed with glaucoma around eight years ago. He has since removed cataracts. He is calm and caring, always ready to spend as much time with you as is needed, and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. I cannot recommend him highly enough. In fact I have already recommended him to a friend whose vision was impaired by cataracts. She has now recommended Jonathan Clarke to her friends!
I was seen at the the correct time of the appointment without any delay and it was conduted professionally both in terms of examing my eyes and reponding to my questions in a manor that I can understand . I felt very grateful and assured
I visited Mr Clarke regarding Cataract procedure beginning of September this Year Mr Clarke explained the procedure to me with professionalism and care I felt i could trust him completely
It's clear Mr Jonathan Clarke is highly skilled and very knowledgeable. He explained every step of the procedure in a clear and understandable way. Very honest and after the operation, he continued to check in which was really important as some take longer to heal than others. This puts me at ease and is reassuring. I trust him and would recommend.
The Doctor is so kind and patient and very knowledgeable. I am booking my second cataract operation with him for November.
A compassionate, kind & very highly skilled professional - a pleasure to work together
