Mr Helmut Zahn

I cannot recommend Mr Zahn highly enough. He has performed surgery on me before a number of times and I knew I was in the best possible hands. His professionalism, expertise and genuine care for his patients is exceptional. He takes care to listen, explain everything clearly which makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process.

This is my second hip replacement with Mr Zahn and I’m so pleased I found him. He has a way of explaining things clearly so you aren’t bamboozled and is approachable enough so you can ask questions if needed. If I had any more hips to replace, he would be my first choice 😉

I saw a consultant at a different hospital who told me I needed a hip replacement. A friend had recently had a hip replacement done by Mr Zahn and he recommended I get a second opinion. Mr Zahn was very calm, friendly and immediately put me at my ease. He explained the drawbacks and risks to having a hip replacement and invited me to track my symptoms over two months before making a final decision. I currently have no pain and Mr Zahn gave me the perspective to realise that there's no reason to have what is in fact a serious operation when I can manage perfectly well without. He then gave me some useful, practical advice for remaining as pain-free as possible. I walked out with a big smile on my face. Thank you, Mr Zahn! I will be keeping Mr Zahn on speed-dial in case I do need a hip replacement in the future.

Very good, especially when compared with others. Good explanations. It's important to have confidence in clinicians and Mr Zahn promotes that. Recommended.
