I always felt that Mr Britton listened to me, answered all my questions and explained exactly what he planned to do. On the day of the operation he was reassuring both before and immediately after, and he even found time to pop in to check on me as I was about to go home. Six weeks on, I am already delighted with the result of my partial knee replacement (and particularly the very neat scar!) and am very pleased that he was recommended to me.

I was initially concerned about whether I would qualify for a procedure to repair my painful knees. The first meeting with Mr Britton put my mind at rest, he explained exactly what the cause of problems I was experiencing, providing good sound advice enabling me to make decisions on how he could fix my knees and improve quality of life. Mr Britton explained in detail the procedures he would perform and when it came to the operation I had total confidence I was in good hands. He was truthful with what I had to do to give my knew knees the best possible chance of recovery which I followed to the letter. His encouragement and positivity at every meeting has been brilliant. I can’t express how happy I am with both new knees. Mr Britton has given me a future in which I can continue living and moving practically pain free which is life changing. I can’t thank him enough. Simply amazing 😁

Mr Britton has changed my life. I was in agony with right leg pain and Mr Britton found and diagnosed the problem and clearly explained my options. We then agreed a way forward and he carried out a total hip replacement and a total right knee replacement in a 5 month period. I can now sleep and walk and am completely pain free.

From the outset Mr Britton put me at my ease, explained what, why and how in sufficient detail. My post operation experience has been remarkable, minimal pain, walking without aids and the need for painkillers after a couple of weeks. On discharge he explained what to do to continue my recovery. I cannot be more thankful for the service Mr Britton particularly and the whole team at Nuffield gave me.

I found mr Britton very easy to talk to , and when telling me what the issues were and how to address them and the procedure he was going to do, was explained in a very simple, clear and easy way to understand, both before and after the surgery. Can’t speak highly enough of the man.
