About Mr Conor Marnane
Graduated in Medicine from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Mr. Conor Marnane is a Consultant in Otolaryngology (ENT) and Head and Neck Surgery. He completed his Higher Surgical Training in Otolaryngology in South West England. He gained expertise in complex head and neck surgical procedures, including Trans Oral Laser surgery and techniques of advanced endoscopic sinus surgery during his placement at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide as a Senior Fellow in Head and Neck Surgery.
Mr. Marnane has been a Consultant ENT Surgeon in the NHS since 2007, based at Morriston Hospital, Swansea. He has been Clinical Director of Surgery (Surgical Specialities) Lead Head and Neck Clinician for the Wales Cancer Network and is currently Deputy Clinical Director National Strategic Clinical Network for Cancer
Mr Marnane is a member of the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists and the British Laryngological Association, and has extensive experience in managing all types of adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat conditions. His expertise lies in treating benign and malignant head and neck conditions, voice problems, throat and swallowing problems, and diseases of the nose and sinuses.
Other interests of Mr. Marnane include teaching, education, and research. He is an Honorary Senior Clinical Tutor at Swansea Medical School.

Follow up after tonsillectomy and turbinate reduction
I went to get my tonsils removed, I had an excellent experience with Mr Marnane. Very helpful and clear to what was going to happen and what is to be expected. The operation went smoothly with no complications, this helped with the healing process and after going for a check up he said that I’ve healed very well. Almost no pain after having my surgery
I recently had a Septoplasty and Turbinate reduction surgery with Mr Marnane. The surgery was successful and has left me with better results than I anticipated. It was performed at such a high standard, that the healing process was dramatically shorter than usual. Mr Marnane was highly professional throughout, and explained everything clearly so that I knew exactly what to expect. Highly recommended
Attended Sancta Maria Hospital for a nasal polypectomy and septoplasty. From first consultation to final check up Mr Marnane explained clearly what would happen and what to expect. Absolutely no problems with the surgery and did not need any painkillers at all during the recovery period. Thank you Mr Marnane, the anaesthetist and the nursing staff for their professionalism, skill and care.
I was seen very promptly by Mr Marnane, who had an excellent and professional manner and was very courteous. I had suffered with chronic ear infections for 18 months which hadn't been resolved by my GP practice . After one visit with treatment given my infections have now all cleared up. I've also been given treatment to stop it happening in the future. I would highly recommend Mr Marnane.
Very step of the process was professional and timely. I was able to schedule meetings and surgery easily around my own schedule and the end result and recovery was better than I could have hoped for.
