I just wanted to let you know that deciding to come and see you was the best thing that has happened. I have been messed about and sent to see so many different people via the NHS and in the end, was just let down so badly. My husband couldn't stand seeing me in so much pain anymore that he contacted the Spine Clinic and I was seen by them within a couple of days. Yes, it costs a bit of money, but it has saved me months of waiting for an appointment, months of being in pain and months of being on the wrong medication. I had my appointment, and was given an MRI Scan, which the NHS do not like giving out and I had a face-to-face conversation which is also something that you have to wait months to get now. After 3 hours in the Clinic, everything was done, there and then and it has completely changed my life. I am no longer taking medication that I don't need, I have been given detailed information about what is actually wrong and a plan to go forward. I have been given the correct advice by Dr Aylott and all the information that I need. All I can say is Thank You, you have changed everything for me and my family. After one visit to Mr Aylott I knew what was going on and made the trip to London to have steroid injections into my back. Excellent manner, very understanding and helpful. The source of my back pain was identified following an MRI scan and Mr Aylott explained my problem clearly and suggested possible treatments. One of the treatments involved an operation but there was no pressure at all to select that one. Immediately following the operation, I was free from any pain and am glad I selected that option. The whole process from beginning to end was quite straightforward and Mr Aylott put me at ease throughout.

I cannot praise the treatment I received recently at the UK Spine Centre highly enough. I had been experiencing pain in my left leg – at times excruciating - for the previous six months and to say I was a nervous patient is an understatement. I needn’t have worried however; I live outside the UK so emailed my MRI scan to Mr. Aylott and had my initial consultation with him via a video link, at which he explained the nature of my problem (a herniated disc and trapped nerve in my lumbar region) clearly and concisely, outlining the treatment options so that I could make a fully informed decision on the way forward. He then confirmed all of this in writing. The day of the procedure (a spinal injection) two weeks later was extremely well organised and I’ve now had a follow up consultation, at which I was able to report that to date the nerve pain has completely disappeared. All stages in the process were handled immaculately by everyone involved and I can highly recommend both Mr. Aylott and his team.
