About Mr Ben Gurney
Ben is qualified in both medicine and dentistry and completed his specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical training in Surrey and Sussex. Before taking up a consultant post, he completed an overseas fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia. He is now based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and Guildford Nuffield Hospital.
At 5dental, Ben offers all routine and surgical extractions that can be provided under sedation with our in house sedationists. These include orthodontic extractions and more complex wisdom teeth removal. Ben provides consultations and treatment for skin and oral biopsies, including mole and skin tag removal. Ben also provides Profhilo – an injectable anti- ageing treatment made from hyaluronic acid to address skin that is losing its elasticity and firmness with age. It is injected just below the surface of the skin where it disperses quickly and reacts with the tissue to instantly boost hydration.
