It has taken me two & a half years to have a Hip Replacement. This is not the fault of any Surgeon or the Nursing Staff, all of whom have provided excellent, professional service but two & a half years is too long & the problem must be addressed as a matter of urgency.
Dr Ammar Abbas is a great doctor and a first class surgeon who i found to be very personable and extremely attentive throughout the entire process from surgery right through to rehabilitation . My only regret was not engaging his services earlier as I suffered needlessly for over 6 years with a limited range of motion and excessive daily pain which negatively impacted on my day to day activities I am delighted to say that the excessive pain and limited mobility is well and truly behind me now following on from the total knee replacement surgery that was undertaken on both of my legs by Dr Abbas 14 months apart who specialises in the computer guided surgery I am extremely delighted to have achieved pain free mobility and an increased range off movement and effectively reclaimed my life again post surgery I felt reassured and confident of a highly favourable outcome at the time when I first engaged with Dr Abbas prior to surgery as a result of the thorough examinations / x-rays and pre surgery work up and discussions concluded by Dr Abbas . Dr Abbas asked me if I had any questions following the completion of my rehabilitation programme and prior to discharge from his care and genuinely my only question and concern was when can you operate on my other leg . I was offered different surgeons and various time slots and refused them all and held off until I could get an appointment from Dr Abbas that’s how confident I was in his ability . A gentleman and a very fine surgeon indeed who has helped me reclaim my life and removed the burden of pain I’ve had to suffer an...

I had a hip replacement recently and everything was explained and was an overall very good experience!
Had excellent treatment before op and afterwards . All staff so lovely and helpful. Enjoyed listening to country and western music during op. Very lucky with pain relief but had a bit of sickness with the powerful painkiller . Got it all sorted with my GP. Thanks so much all.
My experience regarding my knee replacement with doctor Abbas was exceptional first consultation, then surgery, and after operation appointment. Merit the five star rating.
My experience from beginning to end has been excellent. Mr Abbas made time for two visits to My bedside and I was very impressed with this. The multi-disciplinary team had been excellent in every aspect. Thank you all.
I have known Mr. Abbas for many years now. I work with him in the NHS as well as in the private sector. I find him very attentive in his care towards patients. Also, he is always trying his best to provide high standards surgical knowledge and skill in his practice. I have full trust in him and do not hesitate to refer some of my patients to him. In addition to that, he is a polite gentleman and a pleasure to be around with.
