Mr Moustafa Issa

Mr. Moustafa Issa is an experienced Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon currently practicing at The Chiltern Hospital, The Shelburne Hospital, and Newmedica in Oxfordshire. He has extensive training and experience in various regions of England, including eight years at Oxford Eye Hospital. He took up a Consultant position at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust in 2016, where he leads the Acute and General Ophthalmology services.

Mr. Issa's clinical interests are rooted in General and Comprehensive Ophthalmology, with a special focus on cataract surgery and medical retina. He offers consultations for a range of treatments, including astigmatism correction, diabetic retinopathy management, chalazion removal, low vision assessments, refractive lens replacement surgery, and YAG laser capsulotomy for posterior capsule opacification.

He is also a senior clinical lecturer at Buckingham University Medical School, sharing his expertise with medical trainees. In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Issa has completed a fellowship in Medical Retina in London and holds membership in professional organizations, including the General Medical Council, the UK & Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Mr. Issa is fluent in English, Arabic, and French, ensuring clear communication with a diverse patient population.
