Dr Mohammed Meah

Dr Mohammed Meah is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist based at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, with a career spanning over a decade within the NHS. He read medicine at the University of Liverpool, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). He subsequently attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in clinical cardiology.

Dr Meah’s postgraduate training includes Core Medical Training (CMT) at The Royal Liverpool University Hospital, followed by subspecialist training in interventional cardiology. Alongside his senior clinical responsibilities in Liverpool, he has served as a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on advanced clinical research. His practice bridges advanced interventional procedures with a data-driven approach to coronary heart disease prevention and cardiac analytics.

Specialising in the management of acute coronary syndromes and ischemic heart disease, Dr Meah performs complex percutaneous coronary interventions, coronary angiography, and non-invasive cardiac imaging.
