Dr Mohamed Khafaga is a professional and good doctor during patient interactions. He explains procedures, including back injections and nerve blocks, in detail to patients. Dr Khafaga listens to patient concerns, offers advice, and puts treatment plans in place. Patients frequently experience positive outcomes for chronic pain, especially with lower back pain conditions.
Today was a telephonic consultation.with Dr Khafaga who was supportive, and informative. He totally understood my pain problems and gave appropriate advice.
Today I visited Dr Mohamed Khafaga regarding the pain I am experiencing. My whole experience with Dr Khafaga was great! There was clear communication, understanding and real compassion which shown me that Dr Khafaga cares about his patients. I felt heard. I came out of my appointment feeling relieved that we have a new plan in progress and I am happy that something is being done to help with the pain. I also asked a few questions on certain choices I have made and I trust his opinion.
I was very pleased with my appointment, I was treated as a person and not a number. It was explained to me the next procedure I could have,I've signed the concent form to my next procedure knowing that everything was explained to the way I could understand.
I visited to have a review relating to a recent procedure in April to advise that it had no affect on my condition. I was advised that as the main issue he believes is causing the majority of my extreme pain and my unsteadiness on my feet is likely to be due to the bone on bone issue in my spine. A referral is being made to the Walton Centre for a potential procedure that will target the disc pain by utilising Reactiv-8 that will target the muscles that are wrapped around. The aim would be to increase the muscle strength with this device that requires a battery inserted under the skin and the connection of individual wires which will stimulate these muscles, hopefully aiding me to get some relief by strengthening them to provide more support. I look forward to receiving a response from the Walton, and hope the Consultant is in agreement to try this procedure with potentially a chance to then strengthen these muscles further with my own exercise once this has started to have the desired effect which currently is not feasible whilst the pain is so severe.
Nothing further required as consultant was friendly, informative and approachable and asked often if there was anything else that should be addressed
He was excellent in every way that I could see. Looking forward to seeing him in October
Dr Khafaga explained everything clearly and professionally, and the advice has really helped with managing my pain. I had a positive experience and would recommend them.
Shared information with me about my condition & offered solutions that might help.
I have nothing but praise for Dr Khafaga and his team. The two doctors I saw in the Nuffield especially Dr Khafaga; actually listened to me, saw me, discussed with me, planned with me, supported me. He had been amazing. Kind, considerate and caring. Thank you!
Excellent valued clinical opinion, very experienced, patient focused.
