Having been under the care of Lisa I would not go anywhere else. She is kind, caring, professional, approachable and most of all she listens. Lisa is dedicated to achieving what you want but will be honest about any limitations that might require a compromise. Once you are her patient you have someone who will be there for you for the lifetime of your procedure and beyond. This is invaluable. She has also built an excellent team around her. I am sure you could find your procedure cheaper but you will not get better value than Lisa anywhere. I thoroughly recommend her.
I am now 38 and it is now almost 10 years from my first surgery and it is still hard to put in to words how much it has transformed my life. After losing 105 lbs I was left with loose skin on my abdomen and low hanging breasts. The surgery I under went was a vertical scar breast operation tummy tuck and back lift. I did not have the tummy tuck and back lift at the same time and I am very glad of this, as although it spread my total surgeries out over a longer period I was actually able to rest, recover more easily as I was not laying on my wounds! At the age of 28 and after the achievement of losing so much weight I should have been brimming with confidence, however, the loose skin I was left with meant that I was still unhappy with my body, particularly when wearing tighter fitting clothes, swimsuits or being naked. After the surgery, however, I am body confident, wearing whatever clothes I want including my now extensive collection of bikinis! I am more confident socially as I do not feel self conscious about my body and what people might think of it. It has also helped with continuing my healthy lifestyle as now when I exercise and am active I am actually able to see the results and no longer think that it was pointless as no matter what I did I would not be able to rectify my loose skin!
My friend has recommended me Lisa Sacks but I did my own research and went ahead with the consultation. Both Liana and Lisa were so approachable and helpful when responding to my questions and made me feel at ease from the get go. When meeting Lisa she was so warm and welcoming and so gentle towards me, I immediately knew I wanted her to complete my surgery. Lisa gave me all required information pros and cons so I could make an informed decision myself. Together - we decided on 300cc. I was a 32B/C and my end goal was to be a 32E. The day of the surgery obviously very nervous but Lisa instantly put me at ease as did the staff at Nuffield Health. Following the surgery I had a lovely gift and card from Lisa wishing me well, which was such a lovely gesture! Lisa herself came to visit me the next day to check on me and remove the drains herself which I really liked as put my trust in her solely. The after care was absolutely amazing! I couldn’t be more thankful to Lisa for giving me her personal number for a week and asking my every couple of days how I was, it reassured me and my mum completely. 3 months now on have 3 checks up at 1 week 3 weeks and 12 weeks! I am healing well, the scars are so minimal I can hardly see them! Absolutely over the moon with my new breast and I feel amazing within myself! The difference it has made to my confidence is beyond believable! I feel much more confident in social situations on holidays and most of all with my partner!! I am now wearing a 32E bra!!
Amazing surgeon. Liove my breast augmentation results, they’re perfect. She was so reassuring, informative, careful & considerate, I totally trusted her and would recommend her to everyone.
I’m 41, 3 children, all bf. I hated how my boobs looked. I had an uplift with implant. Lisa and her team are absolutely incredible. V thorough consultation process and excellent aftercare. A year on, scars are minimal, boobs look great-real, natural. I feel much more confident. Clothes fit better. I fill my bras properly! I love wearing swimwear again. It’s definitely raised my confidence.
I am very happy I had my surgery done with Lisa she is such an amazing women. I am so happy with my results and my recovery. I am 23 years old an decided to have my breasts done due to issues with my confidence. After a long time thinking I am so so happy I went for it! It has massively improved my confidence! I no longer worry about putting on a bikini or wearing a top that I can’t wear a bra with! I went from a B to a DD and that size is perfect, Lisa made me look so natural that no one even can even tell that I have had it done, which is great! Once the recovery was over they just feel like my own, I forget I have even had it done and I cannot remember what my old body looks like. They have given my body some curve and I feel a lot more feminine! I am so lucky to have loved the experience and my results, I wouldn’t go to anyone else.
Whilst doing my research to find what I considered was the best surgeon to perform my operation, I was drawn to Lisa Sacks through the style and credentials of her website. I had my breast reduction operation with Lisa in November 2015 and have never looked back. Lisa is a very caring and dedicated surgeon and always makes time to see you should you require it. The aftercare that she provides is second to none and she will see you as many times after the operation as is required. Lisa is not only interested in whatever treatment she is providing but she is also interested in you as a person and is warm and friendly at every appointment. The operation went very well and the results were amazing. My life has changed drastically since having my breast reduction. I am extremely pleased with the shape of my new breasts and feel a lot more confident in every aspect. I still wear the same size tops but they fit so much better with no pulling! I can wear clothing that doesn't require any support and I have a much wider choice with the types of clothing I can wear now. I used to get quite a lot of headaches stemming mainly from my neck and now realise that the extra weight in my breasts was actually causing them. Following my operation, my niece saw the results and was so impressed with the results that within a year had booked in with Lisa to have her own breast reduction operation. Lisa Sacks is everything you would want in a surgeon and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone thinking of having life changing surgery.
I had labia majora surgery at the age of 28 after having all my children. Lisa was brilliant! Very friendly and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Everything was explained and all my questioned answered. The procedure was fine and was less painful than I had anticipated. I am very happy with my results and would defiantly recommend Lisa. Having a female surgeon was important to me and I found that many surgeons performed labia minora but not labia majora surgery. Since the procedure I feel much more confident and happy and feel it was worth the money.
I never imagined I would get a procedure done but after having weight changes and children I looked into a breast reduction and uplift. I was very nervous leading up to the surgery but Lisa was very supportive and listened to my needs. Having a chance to speak with previous patients who had similar procedures really helped. The Nuffield Hospital in Bristol where I had my surgery was fantastic and felt like a luxury hotel! I feel much more comfortable now and can buy nice clothes more easily. The procedure has improved my confidence and ability to exercise in comfort beyond my expectations. I cannot recommend Lisa enough and I'm so glad I went through with the surgery.
Tummy Tuck - Lisa Sacks - the best thing I ever did! I’m 41 and had thought about a Tummy Tuck / Abdominoplasty procedure for some time after having my daughter 8 years ago. I’d put on 3 stone after my daughter and lost almost all of the weight then hired a personal trainer to tone up and lose the last of it which stubbornly decided to stay round my tummy. I had some stretch marks and always had a pot belly no matter how hard I worked out at the gym. I tried reducing carbs and eating healthy but could never get rid of the excess skin I had remaining. In addition, I’d suffered with lower back problems and couldn’t seem to strengthen my core no matter what I did. I started to talk to some friends and a friend of mine recommended talking to Lisa for an initial consultation. My interaction with Lisa was amazing. She is a lovely person and I felt like I’d known her forever. She was honest and open about what the procedure entailed and what the risks and cons were. Lisa explained I had a gap in between my tummy muscles and these would be ‘put back together’ as well as excess skin removed. I was nervous but Lisa & her team put me at complete ease and after booking myself in for the procedure I was very excited about the results. I’d been given the numbers of some past patients to get an independent view of before & after. The result is amazing - I literally have the tummy I am proud to show off. My belly button is like new, stretch marks have gone and I have a tight set of core muscles. I am back at the gym and now just enhancing my tummy with exercise. The biggest result is I have no back pain at all. The recovery time feels like a long time but is considerably short considering I will continue to look amazing if I maintain my weight, diet and exercise which I plan to. Lisa is like a friend - her aftercare is genuinely amazing. She texts and keeps in touch to see how I’m getting on and I have follow up appointments in the diary to check how I am doing. I would recommend the procedure to any woman who is considering it and most definitely with Lisa Sacks. She may have a long waiting list but there’s a reason - she’s amazing and it’s worth the wait!
My age at the time of my breast reduction operation was 40 and I am now 41 (I am 1 year and 3 months post-op). I wished to have this operation for many years and there were a number of reasons that I hadn’t done it before such as waiting until I knew if I would have a family, financial reasons, and because I hadn’t met Lisa. Lisa was personally recommended by my personal trainer who saw my struggle to exercise and the multiple sports bras I would wear for support. I had back and shoulder pain and certain exercises weren’t possible. My breasts made me feel old and generally sad and unconfident about my body. Is made the appointment for a consultation with Lisa and as soon as I met Lisa, I trusted her implicitly with this huge decision. Lisa understood every word I said and reassured me of the positive changes this operation would make. The procedure itself and the aftercare was excellent, Lisa and her team are the ultimate professionals, I am still quite overwhelmed by the amazing experience. I followed the instructions given to the letter and any post-op pain was managed perfectly. I was back at work quickly, fully comfortable, and the shoulder and back pain disappeared immediately, my posture improved and my confidence improved both personally and at work - I no longer feel like the size of my breasts is noteworthy and I only wear non-wired bralettes because the beautiful shape Lisa created doesn’t need squashing into a shape with wires. I have increased my exercise and I have since lost almost 14 lbs in weight from the day of my operation to today. Psychologically, I also hadn’t realised how every day decisions about wardrobe choices for work, events, sport, pretty much everything were dominated by my breasts and how to dress them/support them … when this was no longer a daily dilemma I felt like my mind was free! Overall, this was genuinely the best decision I have made. Lisa cares for her patients so much, and if anyone relates to my words, I highly recommend taking the next step for a consultation and starting the pathway to a better, more comfortable, more confident and happier you.
I am 38 years old, married with 3 children. I have never really had big boobs but They totally disappear after having the children and I hated the way I looked especially in swim wear. After coming back from holiday last year I decided to do some research into breast implants and found a fantastic lady in Bristol called Lisa sacks. I was so scared to go for the consultation but Lisa and her team were amazing from start to finish. I wanted to have shape to me, but did not want people to know I had had it done so we decided to go for 275 under the muscle tear drop implants. I had my operation in November 2018 and apart from marrying my husband and having my 3 children it is one of the best things I have done. I feel so much more confident in my self, my clothes look better and I can’t wait to go on holiday this year and wear a bikini. I feel the 275cc implants were perfect for me, I am now a 32d but knowone has noticed I’ve had it done as they look so natural. I always wore padded bras but I feel so much better having boobs rather than padding. I can highly recommend Lisa sacks and her team, she was fantastic from the first time I met her and made me feel so comfortable. The care she showed to me and the passion in her work is outstanding and I thank her so much for making me feel like a woman again. Lisa is one special lady.
A bit about myself: I'm currently 20 an at university studying medicine. I went from wearing a 36E/F to a 36C. Pros: Quality service from both the surgeon and the hospital team Quick effectively painless recovery Free consultations after first appointment Amazing procedure technique: S vertical breast reduction means the scars are absolutely tiny compared to an inverted T reduction (I'm almost a year on and my scars are minimal) Cons: I honestly couldn't think of any I've always had larger breasts (runs in the family) and I had absolutely hated looking in the mirror, going to the gym or going out. I felt so uncomfortable in my own skin and when I had my first formal at university, I tried on my my dress and just broke down. That's not even covering the back pain, how my posture slumped or how I found it painful to exercise (I do martial arts). I felt awful how I looked and knew that I wanted to do something about it. I searched for a while for surgeons in the local area and out around the country and narrowed it down to perhaps three fairly local surgeons. After face-to-face consultations with two of them, I knew I had found the one I wanted - Lisa. We sat for around an hour chatting about my life, why I wanted a reduction, what I hoped to get out of it. I went in so nervous and worried that I would be judged and condescended to but what I got was the exact opposite. Lisa was incredible from the moment I first met her. I felt immediately at ease and didn't feel like I needed to hold back in how I felt. She showed my her portfolio of past and current patients as to before and after photos to show me what to expect from the process. I loved how honest she was with how the procedure is done, how to prepare and the healing process. She helped me to choose a perfect size that would make me comfortable and look good on my body type and took my first set of photos then booked my next appointment. I left my appointment feeling excited and relieved. I should note that reading through past reviews comforted me as she hadn't had one single complaint. By my second appointment I had my surgery booked. The surgery: On the day, I was taken to my own private room where I was made comfortable by the hospital staff. Shortly after Lisa came up and talked with me for a bit whilst I was marked and then I was taken down to surgery. The whole team are incredibly caring and respectful of your dignity throughout and put me at ease (I'm a naturally nervous person and was on the verge of a panic attack whilst waiting to go in). The nurses talked to me for at least 10-15 minutes about my life, how things were going etc. I went in and before I knew it I was waking up in recovery with a brilliant team. Lisa came and spoke with me again; how I was feeling, how it went. Throughout the day (I spent a lot of it asleep), I was checked on to make sure I was comfortable, helped me when I was feeling a bit sick (the anesthetist came up to check on me) and gave me restaurant-quality food. By the time I was going home, I felt incredible; I could see and feel the difference without seeing my breasts fully. Lisa followed me up at 2 weeks and then regularly after that at 1 month, 6mths and 1 year, and was always quick to reply to any queries I had. Now, one year on I can't feel any more different than I did before. I look and feel amazing in the clothes I wear, I go regularly to the gym and to my martial arts classes and don't regret my choice at all. Like any breast reduction, regardless of who you go to you need to know that your breast shape changes and settles - it won't look how you want it to immediately. The technique that Lisa uses means that the final result is what you want - so they may look a bit funny for the first few months. Honestly, this was inconsequential as the long lasting result means I can get on with my life without having to hide away anymore.
In August 2017, after many years of deliberation. I decided to have a much needed breast reduction. I felt they had been the bain of my life for a number of years. I had known for a number of years prior to my surgery and was fully aware that she is a brilliant, competent and caring surgeon. Since the breast reduction surgery, my life has changed immeasurably. I feel so much more confident about myself. My posture and stance have completely changed and my back problems have disappeared. One of my main concerns post-surgery was pain. Lisa does not use drains and I can honestly say that I suffered absolutely no pain post-op. The results are amazing and I would strongly recommend Lisa to anyone who is considering this surgery. She is without a doubt the best!
I could not have asked for a better experience without Lisa - she was so kind and understanding from the moment I met her, never once questioning my young age (18 years), understanding how important it was to me. My life has completely changed for the better since my operation, i’m currently the fittest and most confident i’ve ever been and have been able to make the most of my time at uni, playing sports again and going out with friends, without the burden of trying to cover up my body. It was definitely the best decision i’ve ever made!
This procedure for me was life changing. Lisa was beyond helpful and made me feel at ease the whole the process! It changed my relationships with friends and family and most importantly my relationship and self love for my body. It was the best decision I have ever made. I can finally wear the tops and bikinis I want to without having to be self conscious!
Vertical Breast reduction After breast feeding 2 children with large 34e breasts, aged 31 my confidence was at rock bottom. My breasts were that of a 60 year old woman, only a couple of inches above my tummy Button, ‘long & large spaniel ears’. I would avoid certain clothes and have to buy a bigger size to squeeze my breasts up and in, and never felt happy in any outfit. Following my consultation with Lisa, I immediately knew I wanted to go ahead with a breast reduction. Lisa was so friendly, factual and professional during the whole process, and there every step of the way for advice or any questions. Since the operation I have gained so much confidence, built a new wardrobe and love my new 34dd breasts . I even wear clothes without a bra which I wouldn’t have dreamed of doing before surgery. Following the procedure, I was uncomfortable for a week or so with some bruising, but could immediately see I had a waist rather than my waist being swamped my large gravitated breasts. A year on from the procedure, I wouldnt change a thing, the difference in self confidence and my relationship with clothes is 100% improved. My vertical scars are getting more faint, and the circular scars around the nipple barely visible now. I confidently & proudly wear clothes that do not need breast support. I am also more active with my young children without the ‘bounce’ of previous large breasts holding me back. My husband, friends and family have all noticed a huge difference in myself and the appearance of my breasts in clothes being pert, full and ‘young breasts’. I am thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Lisa, and the breast reduction procedure she performed to anyone struggling with the battle of large weighty breasts.
I'm 58 last year l chose to have a vertical breast lift and abdominoplasty at the same time. I had lost 10 1/2 stones in weight which left me with saggy breast and lower stomach. I hated my body and had to do something for me. I can now exercise and wear comfortable fitted clothes l feel sexy for the first time in my life. I can look in the mirror and admire my body the scars are fading. I feel fantastic it's all down to the surgery thank you Lisa.
I am 50 years old, I had a baby by cesarean section 20 years ago. I have a c-section scar and laxity skin and a pouch below my belly button. I am 5f 6, 54 kg. I always exercise to maintain my weight, I do cardio exercise, Yoga and Pilates but the laxity skin and pouch on my lower tummy was always the same never improving no matter how hard I tried. All the exercise on my abdominal target area made me feel exhausted for no improvement. I went to consult with Ms.Lisa Sacks at Nuffield Bristol hospital. I did a lot of research online and she had excellent reviews. I live in Southampton and it took me 2hrs to drive to Bristol. My husband and I were very impressed with Ms. Sacks as she is very kind, honest and professional. She made me feel comfortable and feel that I was in very good hands. I had a mini tummy tuck combined with labiaplasty as I had discomfort when I performed physical activities. It will be 6 months in a couple of weeks since the operation and I have recovered well under Ms. Sacks clear instructions and I am very pleased with the results. I was concerned about having 2 procedures at the same time and how this would effect the healing process. However, everything went very well and Miss Sacks did a fantastic job as I expected. My mini tummy tuck scar is a bit longer than my c-section scar but is concealed under my bikini. My laxity skin and pouch are gone, my belly button is a bit lower and is a slightly different shape but Ms Sacks said it will be better with time. Overall, I am very happy with the result of my mini tummy tuck as it looks natural and my confidence has returned. I enjoy exercising even more. I appreciate the job that Ms Sacks and her team have performed and it’s definitely worth the travel involved. Ms Sacks is very honest, a perfectionist, she wants to give you the best results and I am very grateful I have found her. My labiaplasty is life changing and I wish I had done this earlier. I have no more discomfort when carrying out physical activities and I am so happy to have found a solution.
I would highly recommend Lisa. She was informative and answered all my questions to allow me to make my decision to proceed with the op. You get a sense that Lisa genuinely cares about her patients. The after care service was also fantastic.
I am 62, tall and have always looked after my health. As a young girl, I was always athletic, enjoying sports and very much an ‘outdoor girl’. I was confident and strong. However, about 4 years ago my breast size increased from DD to G and I was suffering back and shoulders pain as a result. As my upper figure became heavy and disproportionate, my confidence suffered. My clothes didn’t fit and, being fashion conscious, I felt, mentally and physically, that old age beckoned and I did not feel comfortable with the future prospect. After careful consideration, I decided to have breast reduction surgery and felt confident immediately in the hands of Dr Lisa Sacks. The operation was not without pain, but this was bearable and I was well cared for during my short stay in hospital. Fortunately, there were no complications and Lisa has been most careful in my aftercare. The result of the operation has been to lift my confidence in more ways than just appearance…I feel very well and now have no back or shoulder pain. My breasts are now looking great, being firm and quite youthful! Even the areolas have been restored. Lisa has done a grand job and restored my physical and mental confidence. So many thanks!
I had breast augmentation performed by Lisa Sacks. I was 29 years old and although I had always considered breast augmentation, I was at a stage in my life where I was confident in the decision to accept the risks associated with the surgery. I was tired of trying to hide my flat chest and my perception of being 'abnormal' affected me on a daily basis. Having met Lisa Sacks, I was also confident that I had found the right surgeon, whom I trusted completely. I now feel content with my body shape due to Lisa's skill and expertise providing me with a natural looking result, in proportion with my frame. The daily stress has disappeared and I enjoy wearing feminine clothes that I shyed away from before. Most importantly, prior to surgery I could not contemplate having a baby due to my fears of exposing my chest. I am now however successfully and proudly breastfeeding my daughter with confidence! Due to my positive experience I cannot recommend Lisa Sacks enough to anyone considering having breast augmentation.
Lisa is an amazing surgeon I couldn’t be happier with my results . Lisa’s attitude to a healthy body is inspiring, I’m so happy with my results and can’t believe the life change it has made for me
I had my breast lift and augmentation in August 2018 and the surgery I received has been life changing! All through adulthood I had fairly large breasts on a petite frame, but since having my children (now aged 3 & 6) my breasts dramatically reduced in size and became saggy and wrinkled. This meant that I struggled to find bras to fit (as the base of the breast still similar size but not upper fullness), I felt self conscious whilst being intimate with my husband and just really missed my full breasts! Having the surgery has made me feel like myself again. Bras and clothes fit perfectly, intimacy has greatly improved, my self confidence has soared and my breasts are no longer itchy (I think this must of had something to do with the loose skin I had). Lisa and her team are absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend her. I felt incredibly informed and taken care of every step of the way.
I had breast augmentation and uplift in May 2017. I have pectus excavatum (large hollow in chest) which has greatly affected my confidence throughout my adult life. Wearing a bra was so uncomfortable and I had to keep adjusting myself. I would never wear swimwear in public and I couldn’t wear clothes that had a v neck. At the age of 50 I decided I had to do something so made an appointment to see Lisa Sacks. A few months later I had surgery and initially was very pleased with the results. Unfortunately I developed capsular contracture which is very uncommon and had to have further surgery in August 2018. Throughout the whole process Lisa was so supportive. She explained everything so well and answered all my questions and reassured me. I am over the moon after the second surgery. I am so pleased with the results and it has given me a new found confidence. It was definitely worth the stress and cost. If you are thinking of having surgery and are looking for a surgeon I highly recommend Lisa Sacks.
I had a rhinoplasty when I was 67. I had always had a prominent nose in adult life but, for various reasons, my nose had become distorted making it difficult to breathe through one nostril, particularly when I lay down. My profile was also very different viewed from each side. Consultations with Miss Sacks were informative, reassuring, easy and friendly. Being able to see computer generated images of a straightened, slightly less prominent nose was very helpful and convinced me to go forward with the operation. Other than some considerable bleeding into the sinus area there was very little discomfort after the first 12 hours post-op. The subsequent bruising lasted only about 2 weeks. The re-constructed shape is strong and perfect for my face. Five years later I am still able to breathe easily and am delighted with the outcome. The small amount of discomfort and the expense was worth it all.
Lisa has changed my life, for many years I had been very self conscious of what I looked like ‘down there’ and had thought about getting labiaplasty many times before I finally plucked up the courage to book a consultation. I was embarrassed and actually felt like I was being a drama queen- why couldn’t I just be happy and confident with what my vagina looked like?! Straight away Lisa put me at ease, I explained to her my reasons why, both for the physical appearance and because it caused discomfort. Lisa shown me photos of work she had done and eased my anxiety. I had a few consultations with Lisa before the surgery and went through exactly what I hope did to achieve. On the day of surgery she came and saw me, including my mother who has also attended. I was grateful for Lisa as she spoke to my mother and eased her anxiety that I was doing this for the right reasons. When I woke up from surgery I only had slight discomfort when going to the toilet, I was allowed to leave the same day. She gave me very strict instructions on the recovery process and kept in contact with me via phone. I’m now 5 months post surgery and the results are far better than I ever imagined. I only experienced slight discomfort in the first two weeks, after that I just ensured to take it easy. This surgery and Lisa have changed my life. I’m more confident, comfortable and overall happier in my life because of it. Which admittedly may sound dramatic but this has honestly been a saving grace, I would spend hours worrying over the appearance, never allowing partners to see it, avoided situations where it would be seen (I’ve always wanted to get a wax!). Now I don’t even think twice about it. Lisa is professional, caring and overall a very good doctor.
I am 42, 5ft2 and have had 6 children. My youngest child was 5 at the time of my surgery. I have had 4 natural births and 2 Caesarean sections. I had all 6 children in 9 years. My tummy had large muscle separation and with my caesarean scar too, I disliked the way I looked. As my family was complete, I looked into having a tummy tuck. I went to see four different surgeons between Bath and London but, found Lisa Sacks in Bristol my preferred choice (even though the location is not near to my home). She has a warmth and understanding and her professionalism is second to none. With regards to the procedure, the duty of care shown to me by ALL of the staff at Nuffield Hospital was exemplary. Lisa and her team provided me with exceptional after care, even to the point where I still visit on an annual basis three years on from the surgery. I am delighted with the result. I feel younger, sexier, lighter and most of all, happy with the way I look. A year ago, I went on to have a breast reduction through Lisa too. Needless to say, I’m overjoyed with the results and am even in bikinis. No more wired bras required or ‘muffin top’ anymore!
