Miss Lisa Pitkin

Miss Lisa Pitkin is a Senior Consultant ENT Surgeon based in Surrey with specialist expertise in diseases of the head and neck, including head and neck cancer. She and her team provide a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment service for a wide range of complex head and neck conditions.

She qualified from St Mary’s Medical School in 1994 and was appointed as a Consultant in 2008. Miss Pitkin regularly performs complex head and neck cancer surgery, airway surgery and benign head and neck procedures. Her practice encompasses both malignant and non-malignant conditions, with a strong focus on delivering expert, patient-centred care.

Her specialist areas of practice include benign and malignant thyroid disease, parathyroid disease, and the diagnosis and management of head and neck cancers affecting the tonsil, tongue base, larynx and pharynx. She also manages advanced skin cancer of the head and neck, voice and swallowing disorders, globus sensation, and salivary gland conditions such as sialadenitis, salivary stones and tumours.

Alongside her busy clinical workload, Miss Pitkin is actively involved in academic work. She publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals and lectures nationally and internationally, contributing to advances in the field of head and neck surgery.
