Dr Miraj Patel

Dr Miraj Patel is an experienced General Practitioner who earned his medical degree from Imperial College London in 2013. A Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, he has spent his career working across various roles within both the NHS and private sectors. 

Dr Patel uses a holistic approach when assessing patients, taking into account their lifestyle. He has an interest in preventative healthcare and screening, often suggesting manageable lifestyle modifications to treat the cause of the problem, rather just the symptoms, and understanding patients health to identify any potential risk factors early.  

Throughout his practice, Dr Patel has developed a broad clinical interest that encompasses the management of chronic conditions in particular endocrine system conditions and mental illnesses. He is also a strong advocate for proactive health management, often integrating non-clinical interventions into his patient care.

As well as his clinical practice Dr Patel is an approved educational supervisor tasked with training resident doctors on placements within General Practice. As well as this he supports the training of teams within 14 GP practices in his role as a GP Educator and inspects both NHS and private practices within his role an advisor for the Care Quality Commission.
