Dr Michaela Patel is a Cosmetic Dentist based in London with over 20 years of dental experience. She graduated as a dentist and general practitioner with her Doctor of Medicine degree from Charles University, Czech Republic in 2002. After qualifying, she practiced as a dentist at her mother's dental practice before moving to the UK and completing the International Qualifying Examination at the Eastman Dental Institute, London.
Dr Patel has practiced as a Dentist in the UK since 2008 and currently sees patients at Parade Dental Practice. She has special interests in cosmetic dentistry, periodontics and teeth alignment and is a qualified Inman Aligner Practitioner. At Parade Dental Practice, Dr Patel offers quick, safe and effective teeth straightening using the popular Inman aligner and clear braces. She is also well trained in Single Tooth Anaesthesia (STA), a syringe and pain free alternative to traditional injections, greatly reducing patient anxiety. She is trained in the management of extremely nervous patients and skilled in providing dental treatment under sedation.

This is a wonderful clinic for nervous patients! I used to suffer from panic attacks just hearing the drills and had to wait outside the surgery before my appointments because I couldn’t bear the waiting room. Over the years being with Michaela, I heavily relied on sedation just to get through simple fillings. (Andre the anesthetist is amazing and I feel very safe in their care). Thanks to Michaela’s kindness and patience, I have turned a corner which I never thought would be possible! I have now managed to have x2 appointments completely awake, including having the wand injections! It took over 40 years to get to where I am, but I couldn’t have done it without Michaela and her team! I cannot recommend them enough to anyone who is terrified of the dentist.

I first starting visiting Michaela around 5 years. My previous dentist said that I would need all my teeth removed. Although, Michaela had to remove a few of my teeth, the vast majority have been saved. The remaining teeth and my gums have improved immensely under Michaela"s care.

Being an anxious patient when it comes to needles and injections, Dr. Michaela made this experience much more comfortable as she uses the wand. I felt so much more at ease as she made sure I couldn’t feel a thing! I am no longer afraid to have injections thanks to Michaela. I would highly recommend!
