Merina Gurung

Merina Gurung is a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist at Wello, dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles through high-quality preventive dental care. With a strong focus on patient education and early intervention, she is passionate about empowering individuals to take control of their oral health and prevent dental problems before they arise.

Merina began her dental career by achieving the National Diploma in Dental Nursing (NEBDN) in 2020, gaining valuable experience and insight into patient care within the dental setting. She then progressed her clinical training, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy from the University of Plymouth in 2025.

As a Dental Therapist, Merina combines her clinical expertise with a gentle and proactive approach to treatment. She believes that trust, communication, and patient comfort are essential to a positive dental experience and is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel supported and genuinely cared for.

Outside of dentistry, Merina enjoys spending time in the kitchen baking and is currently embracing a new challenge by taking up running.
