Nurse Melanie Van Wellen

Ms Melanie Van Wellen is an Aesthetic Nurse based at The London Road Clinic in Newark-on-Trent. She has a background in acute and complex nursing care and provides a range of injectable and skin treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, polynucleotides, exosome therapy and SkinPen microneedling. Her practice includes full-face treatment planning and individual patient assessment.

After completing a Master’s degree in Nursing Science at the University of Nottingham, Ms Van Wellen spent 12 years working as an NMC-registered nurse, including several years in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Queen’s Medical Centre. She moved into aesthetic nursing in 2023 and has since developed a practice covering injectable and skin treatments.

She is currently completing the V300 Independent Prescriber qualification at the University of Lincoln, with completion expected in August 2026.
